Meet the Team

Chris is a director of Xenith Property Group and leads the day-to-day running of the portfolio. He decides which homes we take on, how they are presented, and what standard they are kept to, and he stays close to the detail rather than leaving it to a call centre.

As a family business, we want tenants to know who is looking after their home. Chris is the point of contact for viewings, tenancy start and finish, and anything that needs a decision, and he works with Owen and Marius so that problems are dealt with quickly and fairly.

Owen looks after the legal and housing side of the business: tenancy agreements, compliance, safety records and the information every tenant is entitled to receive. He keeps us in line with the current rules for renting in England, including the Renters' Rights Act.

If you are unsure about your tenancy, a deposit, a notice, or your rights and responsibilities, Owen is the person who will explain it in plain English. He also handles complaints and disputes, and aims to resolve them with a clear, fair, evidenced answer.

Marius looks after the condition of the properties we manage, from routine upkeep and safety checks to urgent repairs. He is the person who turns up, sorts the problem and records what was done, with before-and-after photographs so that every repair is properly documented.

Reporting a repair through your tenant account puts it straight on his list. Emergencies such as gas leaks, flooding and loss of heating or power are treated as a priority, and Marius keeps you updated until the job is finished and you are happy it is fixed.

Marius also runs his own property maintenance business, iHandle, so the standard of work you get from him through us is the same one he puts his own name to.

Richard looks after glazing and door repairs across the properties we manage: broken or misted double glazing, failed window and door units, and doors that stick or won't secure. When a tenant reports a problem, he is who we call to make the home safe and weathertight again.

He also covers our commercial units. Work is done in uPVC or aluminium, in a colour to suit the property, and replacement windows and doors come with a FENSA or Certass certificate, which we keep on the property's record. Security-rated doors and windows are specified where they are needed.

Daniel looks after the cleaning side of the properties we manage. He is the person we send for between-lets and end-of-tenancy cleans, so that every home is handed to the next occupier fresh and ready, and for carpets, sofas, rugs, mattresses and leather furniture that need a professional clean.

He also covers the carpets and upholstery in commercial units we manage, and records what was done at each visit so the property's history stays complete. Daniel works with Xenith through Enviro Clean Sheffield.

Andrew looks after Xenith's accounts through Rapinet & Co, our accountants and registered office in Sheffield. He keeps the company's books, VAT and Companies House filings in order, and the records of rent, deposits and costs that sit behind the statements we give tenants and property owners.

He advises us on the tax and accounting side of running a property business, including how we account for landlords' money separately from our own, so owners can be confident their funds are properly accounted for.
